When the lights go out, a reliable generator stops being a luxury and becomes a necessity. It keeps your fridge cold, your boiler running, your internet on and your business open. If you’re looking for one, Storgom is one of the best places in Ukraine to start. It has a huge range of petrol, inverter, dual-fuel and diesel generators from trusted brands, plus expert advice, gifts, instalment payments and fast delivery. Here’s a friendly guide to choosing the right generator on Storgom.
Why Buy Your Generator From Storgom
Storgom is known for having one of the widest generator selections in the country. Instead of jumping between several shops, you can compare dozens of brands and types in one place, filter by power, fuel type, starting system and features, and see which models are in stock right now.
Every generator comes with an official warranty from the brand, and Storgom’s managers are praised by customers for helping them pick the right model. Many buyers say they wouldn’t have known which generator to choose without that advice.
Inverter Generators: Clean Power for Electronics
Inverter generators are the most popular choice for homes and apartments, and for good reason. They produce clean, stable electricity that’s safe for sensitive devices like laptops, phones, routers, TVs and gas boilers with electronic controls. They’re also quieter and more fuel-efficient than conventional generators, because the engine adjusts its speed to match the load.
Storgom offers inverter generators from Konner&Sohnen, Matari, Maxpeedingrods, Hyundai, Vitals, Weekender, Fogo, Rato, Forte, GTM, Scheppach, EnerSol, Honda, Yamaha and EcoFlow. Compact models are perfect for apartments and small homes, while larger units can power a whole house.
Dual-Fuel Generators: Flexibility When You Need It
Dual-fuel generators run on both petrol and gas, which gives you more options when one fuel is hard to find. Gas is often cheaper and stores more easily, while petrol is widely available. Being able to switch between them is a real advantage during long outages.
Popular dual-fuel models on Storgom include Maxpeedingrods dual-fuel inverter generators, Vitals Master inverter generators, Fogo and Rato dual-fuel inverters, and the EcoFlow dual-fuel Smart Generator, which pairs perfectly with EcoFlow power stations.
Petrol Generators: Reliable Everyday Power
Classic petrol generators are a dependable, budget-friendly choice for country houses, workshops and construction sites. They’re simple to maintain and available in a wide range of power levels. Konner&Sohnen, Matari, Hyundai, Vitals, Forte and Swizzhoff are popular options, with both manual and electric start models available.
Diesel and Three-Phase Generators for Business
Businesses, farms and larger homes often need more power and longer running times. Diesel generators are ideal here, thanks to their durability and fuel efficiency under heavy loads. Three-phase generators are perfect for powering industrial equipment, pumps and workshops. Storgom offers diesel and three-phase models from brands like Europower, Genmac, Dalgakiran, Cummins, Generac, AKSA, Hyundai and Konner&Sohnen.
Automatic Start: Power Without Lifting a Finger
One feature many buyers love is automatic start with an automatic transfer switch. When the grid goes down, the generator starts on its own and switches your home over to backup power. When the electricity returns, it switches back. Some of the most popular Konner&Sohnen inverter generators on Storgom come with this feature, making them ideal for homes with boilers, pumps or anyone who doesn’t want to run outside in the dark to start a generator.
Generators With Solar Support
Want to cut fuel costs? Some models, like the Matari solar inverter generators, can work with solar panels, letting you use free energy from the sun alongside fuel. It’s a smart choice for country houses and anyone looking for a greener, more economical backup system.
Pairing a Generator With a Power Station
Many Ukrainian households now combine a generator with a portable power station or a battery backup system. The power station keeps your router, phones and lights running silently at night, while the generator recharges it and handles heavy appliances during the day. Storgom offers EcoFlow products and other energy supply solutions in its Power Supply section, making it easy to build a complete backup setup from one store.
Most Popular Generators on Storgom
The Top Sales badge on Storgom shows which generators customers choose most often. Konner&Sohnen inverter generators are among the most popular, including compact BASIC models for apartments and powerful models with automatic transfer switches for homes. Maxpeedingrods inverter generators are another favourite, especially their dual-fuel versions. Matari, Vitals, Weekender and EcoFlow generators also regularly appear among customer favourites.
How Much Power Do You Need?
This is the most important question when choosing a generator. Start by listing the devices you want to run during an outage, like your fridge, lights, router, laptop, TV, boiler or water pump. Add up their power needs and remember that some appliances, like pumps and fridges, need extra power when they start up.
For an apartment with essentials, a compact inverter generator is usually enough. For a whole house with a boiler and pump, you’ll need a more powerful model, and for businesses or workshops, a diesel or three-phase generator may be best. If you’re unsure, Storgom’s managers can help you calculate the right size.
Gifts, Deals and Instalment Payments
Storgom makes buying a generator more affordable. Selected generators come with a free gift, such as engine oil, so you can start running your generator straight away. The store also runs regular promotions and discounts on generators and other equipment.
Paying in instalments is easy through Privatbank, monobank, A-Bank and PUMB, which spreads the cost of a bigger generator into manageable payments. That makes it much easier to choose the model you really need rather than settling for something smaller.
Accessories and Maintenance Supplies
To keep your generator running smoothly, Storgom also offers engine oils, spark plugs, filters, extension cables, automatic transfer switches, fuel canisters and other accessories. Regular maintenance helps your generator start reliably every time you need it, especially during long winter outages.
Simple Tips for Running Your Generator Safely
Always run your generator outdoors in a well-ventilated area, away from windows and doors. Use quality extension cables or an automatic transfer switch to connect it to your home. Store fuel safely, check the oil level regularly and start your generator from time to time even when the grid is working, so it’s always ready when you need it most. Storgom’s managers are happy to explain the basics if you’re buying your first generator.
Fast Delivery and Same-Day Pickup
When you need a generator, you usually need it quickly. Storgom delivers across Ukraine, including to Nova Poshta branches, and many generators are marked Pick Up Today, so you can collect them the same day in your city. Local city pages for places like Kyiv, Lviv and Zaporizhzhia make it easy to see what’s available nearby.
What to Check Before You Buy
Make a list of the appliances you want to power and estimate the total load. Decide between inverter, dual-fuel, petrol or diesel based on your needs and fuel availability. Consider automatic start if you have a boiler or want hands-free backup power. Check noise levels if you live in an apartment block, and look at fuel tank size for longer running times. Finally, check for gifts, promotions and instalment options, and ask Storgom’s managers if you need help.
Why Storgom Is the Smart Place to Buy a Generator
Storgom combines one of the biggest generator selections in Ukraine with official brand warranties, helpful managers, gifts, instalment payments and fast delivery. Whether you need a compact inverter for your apartment or a powerful diesel unit for your business, you’ll find the right generator and the support to choose it confidently.
